We’re looking for guest bloggers

Have you found a great lesson plan that resonates with the adult learners in your community?  Is there a literacy activity that brings children and parents together for laughter and fun in your community?

Maybe you want ideas from others about how to engage learners in your community?  Perhaps you’ve read a book or seen a movie you think others should know about.  Why not share your experiences, questions and ideas with others in the literacy field.

We’re always looking for contributions to the weekly blog on our website. We’ve been lucky to have guest blogs from adult educators, librarians and family programs.  And, we’d like to hear from you too!

We promote our blog in our weekly email newsletter, Literacy This Week.  Our blogs gets more clicks than any other part of Literacy This Week.  We also promote our blogs on social media.  In fact, Jim Stauffer’s recent guest blog was reprinted by a literacy organization in Great Britain!  You never know who will read and appreciate your thoughts.

A blog can be shorter than this one at 205 words.  The maximum length is about 300 words.  It could just be photos.

Give us a call at 873-9262 or 1-866-599-6758 or send an email to communications@nwtliteracy.ca.  We’d love to talk about your ideas!
